    Our team includes the following key collaborators,

    Lyn Scott

    President & Board Chair - Community Impact Partners

    Lyn is the Executive Director of Guardianship Services, Inc. of Fort Worth. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Tarrant County Samaritan Housing and is a published author ( with a top selling title on Amazon ) and a presenter and facilitator in the field of nonprofit operations. Lyn is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University and received her MBA from Texas Woman’s University.

    Denise Huginnie

    Co-Founder & Managing Director

    Denise brings expertise in strategic planning, infrastructure development, strategic fund development, grant proposals and strategic partnerships. She is the co-founder of the North Texas Capacity Building Institute and managing editor of the Servant Leader Journal. Currently serves as a senior advisor for several community-based organizations. Denise holds BS and MBA degrees from Stanford University.

    Linda Gray

    Nonprofit & Community Outreach

    Dr. Linda Gray brings a legacy of volunteerism and community service in the faith-based and nonprofit community. She has been a nonprofit certificate program instructor and has also helped to establish more than 75 start-up nonprofit organizations, guiding them through their initial set-up and launch. She has also served as a grant reviewer for AmeriCORPS, US Department of Education, HUD Fair Housing Initiative and the US Department of Justice.

    Rex Draughn

    Economic Development Assistance

    Rex is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute, and holds an MS degree in Economic Development. Other professional designations include CMA, CIA, CFM, EDFP. Rex is also a licensed CPA in the State of Texas. His breadth of experience includes small business advisory services, real estate development consulting, and extensive work experience as the Executive Director for several economic development agencies.

     

     

     

     

    Sharon Bailey

    Nonprofit Capacity Building

    Co-founder Sharon Bailey is a veteran of the North Texas nonprofit sector and is dedicated to helping servant-leaders and their funders to maximize often scarce resources while continuing to benefit their communities. Sharon previously served as Executive Director of The Learning Center of North Texas in Fort Worth. For ten years, she served as Director of Education at the Center for Nonprofit Management in Dallas.

    Bill Lux

    Small Business Technical Assistance

    Bill is an energetic small business advisor, business coach and business development expert. He is currently a board member for the Denton County Fresh Water Supply District and previously served as a board member and Treasurer for the North Texas Capacity Building Institute. Bill is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas and brings hands on experience as a successful business owner-operator.

     

     

    Tarsha Polk

    Growth Champions 2020

    Professionally known as The Marketing Lady, Tarsha Polk is an award-winning small business trainer, advisor to emerging MWBE and veteran-owned enterprises, and chambers of commerce. She is also currently serving as the 2017-2018 President-Elect for the NAWBO DFW chapter.

     

    Dennis Cagan

    Growth Champions 2020

    Dennis is a serial entrepreneur, award winning board member, expert on private company governance, and recipient of the DBJ Director of the Year Award. He has served as a board member, CEO or COO for more than 50 companies, and was inducted into the IT Hall of Fame.
